CHACONNE: AN EXPLORATION OF MOVEMENT

Berkshire Bach Society presents distinguished choreographer Peter Sparling in Chaconne: An Exploration of Movement. The program includes a look at 100 years of choreography to Bach’s works, and features Chaconne, a film inspired by Bach's monumental Chaconne from the Partita No. 2 in D minor, BWV 1004. The performance used in the film is by Eugene Drucker who introduces the screening by playing the first four movements of the Partita live. He hosts a discussion with the choreographer after the showing. $40 - $45.
